Recruiters are vital to large companies and businesses. They organize recruitment and staffing processes throughout the year in order to keep all positions filled and at times grow the company. While recruiting can cover a large variety of fields, the most common is that of a job recruiter. Typical duties include monitoring resume-posting websites, traveling to and participating in job fairs, creating and implementing recruitment campaigns, identifying talent and screening job applications. It is essential that a recruiter have good time management skills as well as be able to demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment. The ability to successfully network with past and potential candidates and clients is a valuable skill set for a recruiter. Most candidates are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a similar field. A successful recruiter can move forward into the careers of human resource managers and directors. Examples of recruiting jobs include military recruiter, travel nurse recruiter, human resource recruiter, sales recruiter, university recruiter and financial services recruiter.
